Dr. Hyuk Kim是个很不错的教授。对于中国学生来说还是很和蔼很好的,但很多美国学生不太喜欢他,觉得他的教课风格比较难接受。亚洲教授嘛,必然会有一些亚洲风格。我个人还是很喜欢他的。他拿了3个本科,2个硕士加2个博士。学出来快40了。他说:“千万不要走我的路。毁人呐。。。”他还教本科的一门什么课。只要按照对待中国教授一样对待他就好。他很注重礼节。

Hyuk Kim earned a B.A. from Seoul National University (Korean Language & Literature) in 1993, an M.S. from Seton Hall University (International Business) in 2003, an M.S. from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey (Global Management & Strategy) in 2005, and a Ph.D. in Global Management & Strategy from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey in 2010. Dr. Kim received the "Student Excellence Award" as a representative of graduate students in the School of Business at Seton Hall University, and was also awarded the membership in Beta Gamma Sigma. In addition, Dr. Kim has pursued a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA, concentration in Management) at Golden Gate University. Before joining Otterbein University in 2014, Dr. Kim has taught both undergraduate and MBA students at Martin University in Indiana, Lourdes University in Ohio, and Frostburg State University in Maryland as an Assistant Professor of Business/Management. Dr. Kim was selected for the "2011-2012 MBA Professor of the Year" and was also nominated for the "2011-2012 Faculty Excellence Award" at Lourdes University. His teaching and research interested focus on investigating the various aspects of the inte***ce between the economic/business interests and the social, political dynamics of surrounding society , linking the public sector entities and the private sector companies in the strategic management terms. Dr. Kim attaches a great importance to an interdisciplinary approach both to research and to teaching since a number of issues and challenges that stem out of the process of globalization cut across the disciplinary boundaries. Dr. Kim has published in journals and conference proceedings including Management & Marketing, Business and Society Review, International Journal of Business and Society, and several proceedings for the Annual Meetings of the Academy of International Business.
